Bet 2011 TUMS Fast Relief 500 Live Lines and Martinsville Speedway Driver Odds

Martinsville starts the second half of the chase for the Sprint Cup with the TUMS Fast Relief 500! Formerly known as the Subway 500 and TUMS Quikpak 500, it is the final short track race of the year, and always provides great NASCAR action and championship excitement.

TUMS 500 also has one of the earliest starts of any race included in The Chase. The early start is required given that Martinsville does not have permanent lighting installed, and the mid-October shadows making it otherwise difficult for drivers to see and perform to the best of their ability. In comparison, ever since 2005, most other NASCAR events have set starting times of 2 p.m. or later.

This 32nd stock car race of the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season, to be held at Martinsville Speedway in Martinsville, Virginia, the 500-lap, 263-mile, TUMS Fast Relief 500 is the only Chase event that is scheduled to be run on a short track (.526 miles) and, as the final short-track race of the season, a race which always promises to provide plenty of thrills, spills, and all-around great NASCAR action and excitement.

TUMS Fast Relief 500 Winners

Richard Petty won the race six times in five years in the late sixties and early seventies. Darrell Waltrip has also made his mark on the Tums QuickPak 500 history books, winning the checkered flag six times in the 1980s. 2004 and 2006 champion Jimmie Johnson should return to make another run at glory at the "Pretty Paperclip."
